About the Designer

Anna Tiburzi is a Master of Landscape Architecture candidate at the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry. (SUNY ESF)

For the past few years, Anna has worked with the National Park Service’s Olmsted Center for Landscape Preservation and SUNY ESF’s Center for Cultural Landscape Preservation as a research assistant and associate in developing digital representations and completing archival research on national historic landscapes in the American Northeast.

From Geography to Design

Anna earned her Bachelor of Arts in Geography from the State University of New York College at Geneseo, where she graduated with honors, including summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa.

Her background in geography sets the foundation for her interest in further understanding of the spatial, ecological, and cultural relationships at play between communities and the landscapes they share.
